Dot Trace: trace your artwork and turn it into rhinestones

Dot Trace recreates artwork in rhinestones by tracing it: load a reference image and trace freehand, with the pen or with shapes only the parts you want turned into stones. Every dot is a real stone, with diameter and gap set in millimetres, so the template comes out at the correct size.

Because the reference image stays to scale, you can match the stones to an existing print and get a perfectly aligned "print + rhinestones" result. Export produces vector files ready for cutting plotters, machines such as Cricut and Silhouette, or for printing the template on transfer paper.

How to use it

1. Upload the reference image or print (JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF).
2. Set the stone diameter and the gap in millimetres.
3. Trace with freehand, pen or shapes the parts you want in rhinestones.
4. Adjust density, fill and position, then export to SVG or DXF for your machine.
